Welcome to Scriptlaunch (“we,” “us,” “our”). By using Scriptlaunch.com (“the Platform”), you (“User,” “you”) agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Scriptlaunch, you agree to these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree, do not use Scriptlaunch.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent to use the Platform.

3. Intellectual Property (IP) Rights

3.1 Your Content

  • You retain full ownership and copyright of any scripts, stories, pitches, or creative material you upload, write, or otherwise submit to the Platform (“User Content”).
  • Scriptlaunch does not claim any ownership of User Content.
  • Scriptlaunch will never use User Content to train AI models.

3.2 Our License to Operate

  • By uploading User Content, you grant Scriptlaunch a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to process your content solely to provide the Platform’s functionality to you (e.g., formatting, grammar checks, coverage reports).
  • This license is strictly operational and ends when you delete your account or request deletion of your content.

3.3 Generated Materials

  • AI-assisted outputs generated on the Platform (e.g., grammar suggestions, coverage reports, market research) are provided for your personal use only.
  • AI-assisted outputs (like grammar suggestions or coverage reports) are for your personal use. Because copyright law around AI is still evolving, we can’t guarantee how courts will treat AI-assisted material — so you should use them as tools, not as replacements for your original authorship.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree that you will not:

  • Use the Platform to create or submit content that infringes the IP rights of others.
  • Attempt to use the Platform’s AI tools to generate creative material intended to replace original human authorship (e.g., dialogue, scenes, or stories).
  • Misrepresent Scriptlaunch outputs as “human-written coverage” or professional representation.

5. Script Coverage Service

  • Script coverage provided through the Platform is automated analysis and does not represent the opinion of a human script reader.
  • Scriptlaunch coverage is an automated analysis tool designed to highlight strengths and areas for improvement. While it provides valuable insights, coverage is inherently subjective, and no coverage service — human or AI — can guarantee industry outcomes.
  • You acknowledge that coverage is inherently subjective, and Scriptlaunch assumes no liability for business or creative decisions you make based on it.

6. Subscription & Payments

  • Subscription fees are billed monthly or every three months, as selected at purchase.
  • Fees for add-on services (such as script coverage) are billed separately.
  • Subscription payments are non-refundable once processed, unless required by law. You can cancel at any time, and your plan will remain active until the end of the paid period.

7. Data & Privacy

  • We do not sell, license, or share your content with any third parties.
  • Your content is only processed internally to deliver the services you request.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

  • Scriptlaunch provides the Platform “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free outputs, or that Platform features will meet your specific requirements.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scriptlaunch shall not be liable for any loss of profits, opportunities, or damages arising from use of the Platform.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the Platform.

10. Changes to Terms

We may occasionally update these Terms to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or best practices. If we make material changes, we’ll notify you by email or through the Platform. By continuing to use Scriptlaunch after updates take effect, you agree to the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai.

You agree that the courts of Dubai shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms.
